    Pros

Decent pay for an average person

    Cons

Poor management. While with the company for five years we had 7 store managers in three years and they were not getting promoted. Each one got fired for things from fraud to sexual harassment. Two sales reps in the store had masters degrees and were never approached about becoming managers. Both showed interest in becoming managers but they promoted the worst possible candidates and these people usually were fired before 6 months.

    Advice to Management

Recruit qualified candidates from within. Who needs RDP when all you have to do is look within.

    Pros

In many ways on the cutting edge when it comes to products and services. I like their motto 'Own the Home.'

    Cons

At the end of a training period I caught the flu and missed four days of work. When I returned to work with a medical excuse, I was given the option of either resigning or being terminated. Since my performance in training was way above average, there was no reason for me to resign. As a result I was terminated.

    Advice to Management

To terminate someone who has a legitimate reason not to be at work is ___________! For over four days I had a fever of 102 and was unable to work. To require someone to come to work under those circumstances or be fired is inhuman to say the least.
