Former Employee - Sales Representative in Savannah, GA

I worked at AT&T full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Retail hours were good; some stores have 4 day work week, 10 hours a day which is nice. Commissions are good and sales reps can earn above industry average for wireless sales.

    Cons

AT&T customers are not happy customers. Retail staff is the front line for dealing with just about everything. Customer service by phone can be so poor that people come into stores to get all of there problem solved and most of them are angry by the time they get there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Put limits on what a sales rep should reasonably have to deal with on the floor. Customers who scream and use profanity should be given a card with customer service number and then shown the door promptly. Fix coverage problems where the company claims to have coverage and doesn't.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
