Neutral Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Great pay, good benefits (matching 401K, medical, dental, vision, life insurance), generous vacation, personal days which can be taken in two hour chunks for personal business.

Cons

You will work some weekends and holidays. Don't get sick more than once a year or for more than two days or your attendance record will be affected and you could become ineligible for transfers.

Advice to Management

Listen to lower level managers warnings before making critical decisions.

I have been working at AT&T as an intern

    Pros

The pay is pretty good. The hours tend to be fairly flexible depending on your department. The people are nice and laid back. Good chance of re-hire for full time position afterwards.

    Cons

The work itself can sometimes be kind of dull. Definite need to get out and find things to do to keep you occupied in your free time (in the beginning there will be lots of it)

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Competitive, builds experience, great pay

    Cons

Quota quota quota and the lack of appreciation for when you are great at meeting and exceeding that quota

    Advice to Management

First day of the next month? Don't let us just forget our awesome last month. If we doubled our sales, don't immediately ask what we can do for you this month. We get it, that's the way we make our money. Let us enjoy our successes without being down our throat first thing in the sales month.
