    I have been working at AT&T full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Union benefits and protections. Able to grow with company either with management opportunities or union seniority.

    Cons

    Big company with big company policies. Seems the processes or hoops you have to jump through are made up by some big wig that has no idea what each department actually does.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Fast paced environment, high commissions, busy retail outlet - work days go by quickly and sales volume/turn around is high, friendly, knowledgeable colleagues

    Cons

    Hours can be irregular, there are multiple quotas you are expected to hit each month which can often be very challenging especially during slow sales months, frequently dealing with customer complaints.
