Current Employee - Telecommunications Specialist in Benton Harbor, MI

I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

You get to learn the latest telecommunications technologies. The job is good as long as you can find an intrinsic sense of job satisfaction. The pay is good and the benefits are too.

    Cons

The union makes it impossible to progress into a better position.
Once you're top craft don't count on making any more than what the union negotiates for your yearly raise.
Management tends to look at you in a negative light because of you're association with the union.
