I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Can make a decent living if you are willing to compromise values

Cons

Sales reps are held to impossible standards. The company wears you down until you quit, get fired or let go of all your ethics and do what you have to do to make your goals.

Advice to Management

Your employees are your most important asset, remember that........ Constantly pushing for unrealistic goals only creates a breeding ground for corruption and ultimately a poor customer experience. That number one customer satisfaction ranking from JD powers you want so bad is never going to be yours if you continue on your current path.

    Great benefits and a great variety of fields to move and try throughout your career.

    Cons

    Too many contractors coming and going and the training for the contractors is nonexistent.

    Advice to Management

    Hire more permanent employees and you will have a more dedicated and hard working employee.

    Pros

    The money. Co workers. training. some of the customers are nice. you learn a lot about dsl.

    Cons

    the management sucks. the rude customers you have suck. the hours kinda suck. not really felxable.

    Advice to Management

    please just listen to your customers and the agents that are on the phones. the management doesn't know much about our customers.
