    Pros

AT&T vision is at least 2-3 years advanced. To remain the leader with cutting edge technology a vision of this magnitude is a must for the company to remain marketable.

    Cons

Communication from the top is not always delivered in a timely manner.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good ole boy management system. Some of those in leadership roles have not worked any other place than AT&T and some time lack the aptitude to manage effectively.

Former Employee - Premise Technician in Cleveland, OH

    I worked at AT&T full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good pay and benefits, challenging work, good training, unlimited overtime. managers generally care about work-life balance and make concessions where possible. hiring from within is the norm.

    Cons

There are long hours, forced overtime which is good and bad. The managers are generally competent and capable but there are a lot of people to manage and a lot of area to cover geographically. Usually they throw you out to all types of job regardless of experience.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Concentrate on incremental training, there is a lot to learn
