Current Employee - BIS Account Manager in San Francisco, CA

    Pros

Nice package, technology friendly, GREAT benefits, every customer know who you are so you are not selling a small brand. The people have been here for years so that feels great...like you can stay for a long time and not worried about getting fired tomorrow.

    Cons

Big company, lot's of corporate policy to deal with...REALLY alot to deal with...reports after reports...like a funny movie...just deal with it...way to many systems to have to look around at the same place...using SAlesforce would be so much eaiser...but the upward managers are so far away I don't think it gets heard

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better CRM for sales process,,,get ride or combine faster systems to have to help the customer out get what they want to get faster and faster

Former Employee - Senior Manager in San Ramon, CA

    Pros

They pay employees what they are worth. They evaluate other companies to keep pay in line with competition. I was able to work from home and actually worked longer hours and harder because I appreciated the flexibility. Benefits are excellent.

    Cons

Jobs in CA are being eliminated due to strict regulations and policies by the state. It's just too expensive to do business in CA. They can pay employees less in other states. Only jobs with a future in CA are Sales (wireless).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to communicate and keep employees informed. This keeps us engaged and energized and lets us know that Leadership is thinking strategically to keep company profitable.
