Great Place to Start but not for the Long Term

    Pros

The Pay is great and benefits are good but they are slowing being taken away.

    Cons

There is no sense of job security the past few years when outsourcing started.

Jobs either go to Off Shore or they take a group and announce that they are now working for another company. These people are sitting in their same desk, doing the same job but now for another company with less benefits. After a year they are told that their salary is going to be lowered or they can look for another job.

Raises don't even cover the cost of living. Senior management continues to receive high salaries, bonuses and stock rewards.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Outsourcing looks great on paper but if you have to work with them on a daily basis and support their work it cannot possibly be a savings.

Senior management needs to be reduced. They continue to lay off the lowest level of workers but their numbers don't change. It would also be nice for them to feel some of the pain of their actions and getting their salaries and benefits closer to what they are paying their workers.

    Pros

Pay, Rotational opportunities, variety in work assignments. there are many organizations and given the opportunity, you can move to any functional areas as long as you have some expertise. Management in general re-inforces that same view. Pay in competitive in most cases. Geographical locations mean it is easier to move from one region to another and most likely you will find a position that fits your skills, which is quite helpful, if you spouse takes on a new job and you have to move with them.

    Cons

Low opportunities for career growth...benefits not par with many others.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on customer and have a plan to continue the growth that has happened in the last few years.
