Pros

There is always something new and challenging.
Middle and lower management are well tuned in to the ins and outs of the days activities, therefore are quite receptive to recommendatations for improvement.
Internal training is excellent.

Cons

Some customers don't appreciate the time necessary to resolve complex issues.
Job cuts have negatively impacted mean time to restore with regards to hands on support.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to stay on the leading edge of technology! Increase funding with regards to overall network performance (cellular) as there are still many "dead zones".

I have been working at AT&T

    Pros

the fellow co-workers are in the same boat as you are so they will become friends fast.the company is great as far as you putting the company name out there and you're doing your best at customer service.shift bids are what they are as far as seniority.but once the training time is over watch out

    Cons

it is a sales job with some hard metrics that have to be met.so it can be stressful at times.but how about write ups that you can get for the least little phrase said wrong.upper management needs to look at that.we take over 50 calls a day i can see if you out just lie to a customer to make a sale but
something small like a free phone with a case for $5 and we get wrote up for not saying the phone was free but you push us to sell accessories wow!and you wonder why call centers have a high turnover rate most people are gone before 1 year.you know that's got to be an issue
