I have been working at ATR International as a contractor (more than an year)

Pros

As someone in IT, I am regularly receiving calls from ATR about job opportunities. They have found me contract positions more than once. And while the positions aren't always a perfect fit, I appreciate that the recruiters keep in in mind when there is something close.

Great communication as I am always able to get a hold of someone to answer my questions.

Cons

Nothing really. Sometimes the jobs they call me for aren't a perfect fit.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep hiring excellent representatives for your company.

    Pros

Consultants without much experience will think it is a great place to work.

    Cons

Consultants who have experience working with different agencies will find that the company is very inflexible and is accustomed to working with inexperienced people who won't realize that they're being taken advantage of.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you are doing if you just want to work with entry level consultants. Big changes in recruiting and operating methods will need to be made to attract and keep "A" players.

    Pros

Coworkers are nice. Family environment. Holiday potlucks

    Cons

Pays very little. Expects amazing work but gives no encouragement. Favorites are obvious and in your face. Special treatment heavily given to them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need either a fair working environment or more incentives to work harder

Thank you for your feedback. While many of ATR’s recruiters enjoy long term success, it is unfortunate that this was not your experience. As all recruiters know, not every person/position match ... More
