I have been working at AXA Equitable full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

One of the few companies with a pension program that is still actively funded, great international presence, financially secure, benefits package is okay to good.

    Cons

No 401k match, below average performance increases, significant management, leadership and other employee turnover, salaries are not as competetive than in the past

I worked at AXA Equitable full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    - Generally, smart, hardworking and friendly coworkers
    - Collegial and collaborative atmosphere amongst the rank and file
    - A long, proud tradition of success

    Cons

    - The new senior management team, which joined in 2011, is completely out of touch with the employees. Morale could not be lower.
    - The industry is experiencing struggles in general, but senior management is attacking the problems with very little imagination. Cutting employees and leasing costs will not create growth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A serious attitude change (or regime change?) in the senior management ranks could get things turned around quickly, but time is running out, as good employees continue to leave in droves. How can you ask your employees to all move to Jersey City when you are not willing to?
