Pros

Full Time, Sundays off, bonus incentives, uniforms pretty expensive, 401k, health insurance offered, e-courses to further train you

Cons

Too many chiefs not enough indians, rules change too often,unprofessional management, favoritism, go hand out fliers when not busy no matter what weather not in the job description or interview.

Advice to Management

stop promoting a culture where everyone is spying on each other, sell better furniture customers scream when the bad products keep breaking down

    Pros

    - Great employees in most areas - Name brand products - Getting to help decent, hardworking people (not all are decent OR hardworking) - Closed every Sunday and some major holidays

    Cons

    - Management, management, management - Customers can become ignorant even when you're trying to help - Little to no work/life balance (50+ hours per week, not uncommon to work 10-12 hours every day)

    Advice to Management

    Realize that the world is changing and employees expect more out of a company than just a paycheck these days. Happy employees need balance and the environment on the store level doesn't allow for much of that...

    The benefits and regular hours, including overtime.

    Cons

    Long shifts, poor commission, unreasonable expectations with low pay for several positions.

    Advice to Management

    I feel misled on what the sales manager position entailed.
