I worked at Aaron's full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

They worked with my schedule so I could keep going to school.
It was a paycheck and it paid the bills

    Cons

    Long Hours
Sketchy Neighborhoods you had to go into to collect money. Actually had a cop pull up and tell me I shouldn't be in the neighborhood because it was dangerous.
Unrealistic expectations. You had to get a certain amount of money collected per month from people who do not want to pay it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Grow up, stop shifting out general managers. You can not have continued success if you keep changing managers every year.

I worked at Aaron's full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great sense of teamwork at some points in my career

    Cons

Too many times where only 1 or 2 people were employed at my store. One person ran the store while the other delivered product. This was in a store with over 600 customers. Compensation is very sub par. Expected to work from 8 AM to 9 PM while only making 10$ an hour for 2 years. Not acceptable

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to the employees who constantly work hard and exceed expectations. 10$ an hour is a joke for real management ability such as mine. If the position will never be paid as management, take the title of manager away
