Cons

The cons would probably apply to any pharmaceutical company in todays market place. What they ask of you and what you are able to produce are unrealistic. It has become increasing difficult to see physcians and leave samples at offices. Many have adopted a no see policy but corporate still requires you to see a predetermined amount of people. Representatives and Managers are often left with moral delimas. Employee satisfaction and empowerment has been long forgotten concepts.

Advice to Senior Management

Every manager, from DM to Area should work in the field as a representative for one week. They will see first hand the challenges to execute corporate expectations. It will go a long way to building trust.
