Pros

Lots of responsibility in Merchandising! Compensation is amazing and career growth is rapid compared to almost all other retailers. The ability to work closely with Mike is a huge perk and wonderful learning opportunity. Work environment is very open and challenging with top talent recruited from across the country. The "buying" role and "product development" role are combined here, so merchants are very hands-on with their product and the numbers.

Cons

Hours are definitely long (60+ hrs/week for some depts.) and a lot is expected out of you. Can get grueling if you aren't passionate about the product. There is a pressure to perform and be the best, which may not be for everyone.

Advice to Senior Management

Training/On-boarding is comprehensive. Leadership training has been an appreciated aspect of continuing development.
