I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (more than an year)

Pros

Met a lot of great people, still best friends with many of them, very chill environment, super easy job, relatively easy to get a shift covered due to the number of associates, managers are practically the same age as associates

Cons

The music is ridiculously loud, extremely appearance focused, felt like the associates were competing with each other as to who was the most attractive, very high turnover for both associates and managers, lots of secretive photo shoots and events, the customers expect sales all the time and will constantly ask if there is an additional discount

    Pros

Employee discount is 40%, and for seasonal wear, 50%
    Good-looking co-workers

    Cons

    Terrible management
    Zero training
Always feel "watched": the managers always think their employees are trying to steal the clothes, they are completely paranoid about it
The managers, MITS and co-workers are catty, cliquey and bossy
The same music track is played over and over
The smell of cologne/perfume actually gave me a serious migraine
    You're always "on-call"
My particular store broke tones of labor laws
