MODEL/IMPACT POSITION...ZERO STAR

Former Employee - Model/Impact in Alpharetta, GA
Former Employee - Model/Impact in Alpharetta, GA

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch full-time (more than a year)

Pros

FLEXIBILITY, employees helping employees, quality in clothes

Cons

uneducated immature managers, so much work so little pay, no reviews/no promotion, sweat shop operated company, managers talk about other managers n co workers within the company, highest overturn rate in employees co always hiring cuz employees leaves within 2 to 3 months, building closets and doing floor moves in 100 degree temp in store, NO BENEFITS,so much to list...

Advice to ManagementAdvice

hire mature educated adults and secretly monitor those young managers that works in your store, decrease work load for minimum wage employees an increase work load for salaried managers cuz their not doing anything but chitchatting bout their personal life

Current Employee - Visual Assistant Manager in Columbia, SC

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great management training program, fun atmosphere

    Cons

High expectations with minimal staffing, Large focus on employee appearance-promotions almost seem based on this

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Understaffing in the stores is a huge issue. Also if you continue to hire based solely on appearance you will not be successful-there needs to be more of a balance

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
