I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Pros are: flexible scheduling, great Career Development Path, opportunity for growth within the company, great people, fun and friendly atmosphere, fast-paced, best training program, opportunity for advancement, and high energy.

Cons

Cons are retail hours and the salary for entry level management jobs. Hiring and promotions are somewhat "looks-based" so in few instances hard work is overseen.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

To improve turnover rate, offer more incentives for entry level positions.

    Pros

The associates and district managers are nice.
It's consistently the same type of work every day, if you like consistent work.
    The work is relatively easy.
    The set standards and plan-o-grams.
It is very easy to work here if you are organized.

    Cons

Some of the MIT's can be under qualified.
The work tends to get trivial and mundane.
It gets boring after a while, unless you have a good manager to challenge you and not just the associates.
    The turnover of management.
Some of the managers have personal focuses when it comes to the standards and having to change the focus every few months with each new manager can get frustrating.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make it challenging for everyone in the store, not just the associates.
How things are said when work is critiqued.
Assessing problems when they should be handled instead of waiting too late.
