    Former Employee - Sales Associate in Houston, TX

    I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Flexibility, mindless labor that requires zero technical skills whatsoever

    Cons

    minimum wage;
    menial labor (folding and repeating the same tagline repeatedly for hours);
    interaction with immature, sometimes ungrateful colleagues who are barely over 16 years old
    no promotional aspect;
    no respect for employees' personal life with the so called "on-call duty"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I understand that the culture is geared toward young adults, and the staff likewise needs to be like minded individuals that understands their customers. However, a group of these young, inexperienced individuals who seem more interested in their own looks than promoting the inventory flow efficiency on the floor and the customer experience is ill fitted for a company that is getting a lot of negative publicity already.
