I worked at Accenture

Pros

Professional atmosphere, top notch people in all functional areas, independence given to get the job done, and work from home

Cons

Work/life balance can be challenging. Difficult to achieve Senior Executive level without multiple internal sponsors.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Incredibly well run company that is proactive in meeting the market challenges by re-organizing, refocusing to stay efficient and competitive

I have been working at Accenture

    Pros

    The company is performing well
Telecommuting and working at home are encouraged
    Benefits are OK
I'd much rather be an Accenture shareholder than employee

    Cons

I'd much rather be an Accenture shareholder than employee
Extremely limited opportunities for advancement in enterprise
If you aren't client facing in the US your job will be moved to Argentina shortly
Due to this there is massive instability, employees are often assigned new supervisors constantly
Feedback on job performance is terrible or worthless depending on the manager

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There ought to be a logical stopping point to moving the entire enterprise workforce offshore. At some point Accenture's HR, Finance, and IT department will consist of three partners in the US and 50,000 roles in India or Argentina.
