I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Huge company with lots of opportunities to work in nearly any field--especially tech - Ability to see inner workings of some of the world's most amazing companies - Great brand that is respected by future employers when seen on a resume - Very diverse company with people coming from a broad array of backgrounds - Pay is good coming out of college - Awesome benefits with lots of holidays and vacation time - Many of my projects have allowed me to work remotely or at different hours depending on personal needs - Huge global network of both current employees and alumni

    Cons

    - So big it's easy to get lost in the mass of Accenturites--hard to make really strong, long-lasting network connections - Small offices in the Bay Area making it difficult to get a conference room or even sometimes a cube - Slow to adopt latest technologies across the internal enterprise - Only do lip service to encouraging career opportunities--does not encourage pursuing interests in education or other projects - Once you become a senior manager and above, your career turns into a salesman and project staffer - Easy to get stuck at one client for over a year or more - Switch clients in the middle of the performance review cycle will potentially damage ones performance reviews and hinder promotion - Little if any interaction between senior management and entry-level analysts - Slower career progression when compared to other consulting companies - If you don't like tech or outsourcing, you probably won't like working for Accenture since most work orbits around these areas - Most confusing org structure EVER--partly because it always changes

    Advice to Management

Allow entry-level employees more flexibility to pursue interests. This will keep talent around longer.

    Pros

There's a lot of learning opportunities and flexibility to choose the Career Path. Enough guidance and support is available at all levels to excel in your career.

    Cons

Few policies have flaw in it however due to the size of Organization there is always a challenge in taking corrective measures and implementing those.

    Advice to Management

focus should be given more at providing growth plans to junior employees.
