I worked at Accenture full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

You get to travel a lot, and you'll get a lot training opportunities if you use them

    Cons

You travel a lot, and have a lot of training that you need to do :)

In all seriousness, the other things that I disliked about Accenture all boiled down to the Senior Managers I had on both engagements I worked in. My line managers were human, but Senior Managers regularly insisted on 60 - 80 hour weeks (unpaid overtime, of course) and really didn't care about consultants as anything other than cheap sources of labor. At Disney World, even the customer complained at the hours the consultants were being asked to work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire more people, and pay more than lip service to the whole work/life balance thing,
