    I worked at Accenture full-time

    Pros

Accenture is a good company to work in general. The culture of not having Sir/Maam salutations as in typical indian companies, is appreciable. Approachability of managers is good. The salaries and incentives are good as well. Some nice projects give one ample room for knowledge enhancement across domains.

    Cons

What is probably under lens is the fact that the hiring on the development side, though motivated by possible demand, seems somewhat less function focussed. Hiring engineers from all streams, and then retraining them in required domains, irrespective of specialization.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Accenture offers the best training and benefits to their employees on a long term note. They train their people to be the best in their craft. All the employees that left the company for better pay had regrets and went back with the company after a couple of months.

    Cons

The best can be obtained by working hard. People working for the company should be productivity driven and not because of the financial status that the company can give to them. Once you became part of the company you should be prepared to accept the fact you might not be able to enjoy Philippine holidays but enjoy the pay that you will get since you will be working most of the Philippine holidays and of course the night shift or shifting schedules. On a case to case basis higher management may seem unfair when it comes to the rights of their employees (limited but not all the projects/management).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Brief better the external hires managers and supervisors especially those that were new to the BPO environment. They tend to carry on corporate rules that does not apply to BPO environment. That is one reason new hires for higher level resigns. :)
