    Cons

Too much process oriented which can get to you sometimes. Also, in some projects you will people with less talent and more experience enjoying a better position. This is rare but present

Still some work to do to eliminate micro-inequities between different workforces but great place to be

I have been working at Accenture

    Pros

Projects can be really awesome and tend to be global in nature. Our work makes the news and we are helping Fortune 500 and governments achieve great things.
In terms of Technology Consulting and System Integration we are simply second to none. Period.
There is a strong entrepreneurship culture and as long as you have a good idea and you can find a partner to sponsor your idea, you can do whatever you want as long as it is meaningful for the business.

    Cons

Very low control on someone destiny. You can find yourself traveling all around North America if you don't care. The strategy here is to find a niche that doesn't involve too much travel and to be in a city where your market is strong otherwise you will have the same life as a traveling salesman. There are some micro-inequities vetween workforces that don't make any sense. Choose your workforce very wisely before you get in and there are no such thing as a position where you will never have to travel (except maybe the people in services).
The turnover can be really depressive but it's generally in early years. The higher the rank and the more likely the person will stay. You have to live with it if you want to make a consulting career.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring more commercials to the company to help partners sell more services locally. Adopt a less rigid structure (only Fortune 2000 companies as of now) for smaller markets and you will probably reduce the turnover and greatly improve the work life balance of your employees.
