    Pros

Good atmosphere at work. Information flow is good among employees and company management. Provides good travel arrangements, however I had a few experiences where its travel services were a pain in the ass. One of the best organisation in India if you are a girl, provides good care for its female employees.

    Cons

Placement among different domains of software is totally based on luck, this is followed in almost all companies in the IT sector. These companies don't realize that choice of domain matters a lot in the future. I have had situations where a few of our managers were misinformed about a few important things, things which can be embarrassing if you don't know it at the management level. HR department is a rubbish, either they try to cheat or there are people working there who don't deserve to be there. Management of employees is not productive.

    Advice to Management

Start to allocate your resources based on their interests as much as possible, this will lead to your employees satisfaction, which can increase their productivity significantly.

    Pros

It's a big school to learn politics and be prepared for the next company. Huge library with cases, documents, manuals etc...

    Cons

Work/life balance is simply non-existent, be prepared to work holidays, weekends and a lot of extra hours in a very high pressure environment. Environment requires so many travels (Monday to Friday) and sometimes more. Career counselors are ineffective, good evaluation don't mean promotions or big raises. Good work, happy client and dedication doesn't mean good ratings; only networking mean good ratings. Promotion cycle is totally political, if you are part of some internal feud you are good otherwise you are only a number. So many managers for a few analysts, so many times you will manage/lead only yourself not a team. Your first project often will be according to your actuation area but after that you'll have to be lucky to work in same area . If you stay on bench you will be a target, stability of tenure in a certain project, no job security . Anytime you can be replaced by offshore team.

    Advice to Management

Revise performance management review process and hire professionals with experience in career plan and evalution. Increase the opportunities to define one's own career path and explore different groups. Improve the work balance.
