I have been working at Accenture full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Great work, Great brand, interesting clients. Meritocracy sometimes works. Great team ethic across the world. Good "get it done" client delivery mentality. International training center is great for meting people and hearing ideas from around the world.

Cons

Individual career options and situations are lost in faceless policy.
Work/life balance could be better.
IT practices usually trump management consulting practices.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Accenture full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent pay and the company does care about it's employees. Wants what is best for 1) the contract 2) the management Team and 3) the employee - as long as you figure this out you'll do good and they management team will support you.

    Cons

Accenture is in the outsourcing business so if you do not keep yourself relevant all the time, you could easily work your way out of your current job as it is sent overseas to be done by someone with a waged less than 10% of yours. You need to constantly find ways to be useful to the company in order to continue being part of the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pick your great workers and develope them, train them, and have a succession plan in place for each when it comes time to realocate the work force to a nation that is much more cost efficient.
