Accenture – “Generally content”

Pros

I find total compensation to be fairly competitive with peers of mine across the country. Due to the harsh economic climate, existing programs are being reinstated to help with the firm's bottom line such as flex leave and extended leave. It's hard to complain about treatment of regular travelers when things are so tight.

Cons

I sometimes struggle with the lack of communication even within my skills group provided to managers and below. It shouldn't be the case that so much guessing is taking place as many of us are looking for new roles! Sometimes I wonder if the purpose of frequent internal re-organization is to keep HR occupied.

Advice to Senior Management

Have fewer messages get channeled through HR! I enjoy the regular communications from Bill Green. I'd like to see this coming from other senior firm posts as well.
