I worked at Accenture full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Great experience and responsibility, good pay, good network, good benefits, a lot of opportunities for growth. Overall a good company to work for with a great brand name in the right areas, especially in System Integration. Pay is average or below average compared to peer companies but the benefits and profit sharing are pretty decent.

Cons

You can feel like a cog in a big wheel, not a lot of personal attention, a lot of politics involved in rating and salary increases. If you get stuck on the wrong client engagement, life can be pretty miserable.

    Pros

Smart co-workers, interesting clients, high-profile work. Constant challenges and room to grow/learn. Flexible work schedule. Competitive pay. Great brand awareness - the job seems to look great on a resume.

    Cons

Travel. Demanding hours. Weekend work. Smartest people means it can be hard to rise to the top of your peer group. Working on client sites can be demanding - have to constantly be prepared and professional.
