Pros

lots of diverse project tasks. Able to take on more than I would working in a 'corporate' environment. Accenture has a very good reputation and I could leave and get another great job without a heartbeat.

Cons

co-workers are always traveling so not as much chance to get to know your co-workers. Sometimes there can be longer hours than I thought

Advice to Management

Sell engagements with a more realistic workload and delivery model to minimize burning out your employees

    Pros

Your peers are generally dedicated, thoughtful, helpful, workaholics
Despite the pretty aggressive performance management system, people are not competitive against each other - everyone recognizes that you're graded on a curve, but maintain a positive collegiate approach in daily work.
Fantastic support for career development, and variety, if you are willing to invest a little time thinking about how to play the game

    Cons

Travel. But that hardly qualifies as a con - you already know you'll be travelling a lot if you work in consulting. But you can get lucky

    Advice to Management

Younger members tend to burn themselves out to make an impression. Probably explains the high turnover among junior grades
