I worked at Accenture full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

If traveling 4 days a week is not an issue with your life situation, Accenture is a great place to work - good exposure, training, skills building, salary and perks

Cons

Traveling must unless you get lucked out with a near-location project, but you are expected to travel

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Build project search and allocation capabilities based on proximity of consultant to client location - this will build the value proposition for the client by reducing the overall cost , and add improves the work life balance for the consultant.

I worked at Accenture as an intern

    Pros

You will stay on top of the latest trends in technology-enabled workflow, engage with smart coworkers who are passionate about learning, grow in your ability to deliver tasks in the most efficient and high-quality way, and quickly grasp global view of business from the "Accenture world".

    Cons

It is easy to lost in such a big matrix organization if you don't have an executive-level sponsor that keeps you on projects so that your visibility and skills continue to grow. Many managers have a "hit the ground running" philosophy which can hinder a new-hire. The interactions go so fast that sometimes it was hard to keep up with the complexity of the interactions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be understanding with a student that is not familiar with a matrix organization and offer a mentor and not a manager who scrutinizes your every move.

    Recommends
    No opinion of CEO
