Former Employee - Team Lead in Dublin, Dublin (Ireland)

I worked at Accenture full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

If you can work for accenture for a year or two, you can work anywhere. There are good people and some great ideas and for the first few years, you do build some good soft skills and they do have a great social scene, made some good friends

    Cons

It is not really a meritocracy. Networking with senior management is more important, and the severe workload and promises of advancement which were rarely true, a colleague worked for 8 years in services with no advancement, plenty of promises, offered promotion the day they resigned. declined, joined by many colleagues soon after, "Travelling" was the reason given for their leaving

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Building loyalty with employees, means being brutally honest with their ability and expectations, develop training and career plans and stick to them

    Doesn't Recommend
    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
