I have been working at Accenture full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Great, talented, and motivated employees; challenging work.

Cons

Work life balance is 100% work. Not much balance.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Too much salary compression and benefits cutting -- good employees will leave if these trends continue and Accenture will become "just another company".

I have been working at Accenture full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Always changing environment, if you are unhappy with your current role just wait a few months and something new will come along. Great benefits and paid time off. Leadership support for women and minorities.

    Cons

Can be long, non-standard hours. On the job learning, you may be asked to do something you have no experience doing and do not have time to go to formal training beforehand.

Good Opportunity, no room for full time position.

Former Employee - Marketing Intern in Columbia, SC

I worked at Accenture as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

Great networking, references and real responsibilities. Accenture bought Duck Creek back in 2011 so they are still transitioning from a small business to a part of larger Accenture. The people include you and like to get to know you which makes the office a lot friendlier.

    Cons

Not a lot of other people in the Columbia office, no room for movement into Accenture consulting. A lot of people work from home or are in services and travel a lot for work. Therefore somedays I would essentially be alone in the office with no work to do. The internship was not very structured and sometimes I was forced to do busy work just so I would stop asking for more stuff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give interns a clearer path to employment. While I am grateful for the opportunity and great references, I wanted to continue working for Accenture. This has been worse than difficult as the process has been very complicated and they have not been very helpful.
