Pros

I have never worked with smarter people. Accenture's people truly are their most valuable asset.

Cons

The benefits are not the best for people with families. Most of the managing directors care about you, but some will step on you to make their numbers.

    Pros

Everybody is very intelligent and talented. Roles are challenging and constantly evolving. Good pay and a lot of time off.

    Cons

Limited work life balance with the amount of travel required.

  2. Solid, but waning.

    Pros

You can develop deep functional experience quickly. Big projects with interesting clients. The people are awesome (but I have seen quite a few good ones leave lately).

    Cons

You need to manage your own career (e.g. seek out projects and mentors that will get you where you want to go). Limited industry training. With growth comes less focus on people.

    Advice to Management

Start: Improving work-life balance, meritocracy and retention of high-performing SENIOR resources. Stop: Eliminating promotions/raises in one region due to poor performance in another. Continue: Developing innovative and relevant service offerings that help us build relationships with clients.
