Pros

People, culture, PTO, diverse experience for people fresh out of college. Great first job
Highly motivate team mates
Travel for those who want to see the world
Training opportunities

Cons

Bloated corporation
Top heavy - limiting in career trajectory and goals
Treated as a number
Self proclaimed meritocracy, but overly political
Work life balance limited
Not good for people who want to have home lives, a happy wife, or children
They stretch the meaning if the words "local role"

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop reorganizing, give promotions you promise, focus on cultivating your people and not only pleasing your shareholders (many of whom are actually employees).

    Pros

Accenture is a great company for someone fresh out of school. There are plenty of projects and Accenture has so many divisions that you can network your way to do what you want to do. Furthermore, the compensation is very generous and Accenture generally cares about employees.

    Cons

The review process can be very unnerving especially when you have to be compared against your colleagues. Even if you are doing what you're supposed to, you might get a below expectation rating.

The work itself sometimes require you to give up social life.

    Pros

You get lots of PTO and work from home whenever you would like. Lots of happy hours.

    Cons

Depending on the time line of the project, can work long hard hours and Midnight on a Friday to test the systems in Production when going live.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More training is needed for new comers. Mainly you just thrown out there and you are expected to swim with the big fishes.
