I have been working at Access Communications

    Pros

With offices in both San Francisco and New York Access is a thriving boutique agency with clients in the technology, consumer, and gaming sectors (among others). The best reasons to work for Access Comunications are the relaxed culture, wonderful people, and fantastic benefits. The offices themselves are comfortable and attractive, each work station is ergonomically aligned for individual needs and comfort. The San Francisco office is located in the financial district and there is a mind-bloggling array of restaurants to choose from for lunches or an afternoon snack. The staff is all very friendly and it's just big family at Access

    Cons

I am incredibly hard-pressed to think of very many negatives to working at Access Communications. i've been an employee for a number of years and don't intend to leave the company any time soon. Why, after 10 years on board employees at any level are entitled to a lengthy sabbatical, and the amount of vacation time granted is quite generous. However pressed to find find domething negative to say, I'd say that the only downside to working at Access is the fact that Access is not an international agency, and there are often temperature battles between those with opposite preferences.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I'd advise senior management to order moer catered lunches.

    I worked at Access Communications

    Pros

The benefit package is pretty good but that's not reason enough to remain employed by Access.

    Cons

Being in the "people" business, you would think Access would understand that treating employees with respect and dignity is of the utmost importance. Senior management not only participates in juvenile behavior, but promotes it. Name calling, public scolding and the discussion of anatomy do not belong in the work place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Berating employees in meetings does not create a productive environment. Keep personal opinions and kindergarten behavior out of the office.
