I have been working at Accolo

    Pros

    Flat organization
    Open door policy
Flexibility in work location (working remotely)
    Support provided when asked for
As much opportunity/challenge as you want to take on (be an entrepreneur!)
    Awesome product!
Fun people (don't take themselves too seriously)

    Cons

Remote employees does cause a sense of separation
    Benefits (no 401K match)
If you're not a fan of constantly shifting directions, that could be a con (common with smaller, evolving companies)
Difficult for some traditional recruiters to adapt to the Accolo model, which requires, for some, more administrivia, record keeping, process related work, and creative writing

I have been working at Accolo

    Pros

Accolo is an RPO and the recruiting platform is really good although I don't have any other comparison. Many positive changes were made in the last year which made working at Accolo way better. Some of these positive changes include: management is communicating consistently, more resources from which to draw and management is no longer up in my grill micromanaging. If I wanted to be micromanaged I could work in an office. Internal customer service is outstanding. CEO and management listened and incorporated positive change. Recruiters work from home and can make good money if they stay on track. There is always challenge here and corporate responds to needs and desires.

    Cons

No insurance benefits for contractors. People at the top probably could have avoided some mishaps if they had communicated better or at all. Recruiters work from home. If you are not disciplined, don't bother applying here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Things at Accolo are really good and top management shouldn't be underestimated. Appropriate communication is key and regular evaluation of how Accolo (including management) can improve is critical. As Accolo continues to grow, hopefully it will create viable avenues for employees to make money and obtain upward movement.
