I have been working at Accountemps

    Pros

Somewhat flexible if placed at the right clients
Great for entry-level to low-specialized employees
Opportunity to transfer to many other offices if necessary

    Cons

Management has lack of regard for full-time employees
Once you are onsite the care and interest in the employees well-being or satisfaction disappears, they only want to keep the client happy
Does not reward hard work, dedication, and initiative

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value your skilled employees and reward them for going the extra mile. Don't hide behind corporate policy and pretend you care more about your employees than you do.

    Just for a paycheck

I have been working at Accountemps

    Pros

A paycheck until something better comes along. Some training and test taking. If fresh out of college you can meet with recruiters close to your age.

    Cons

Unprofessional, I've been hung up on from recruiters.
Placed with toxic and unprofessional people/companies.
The staffing/recruiters could care less about you with these type of companies.
They don't care if you're personality is a good company culture fit. They just want a body in the spot so they keep getting paid.
Even though 68% of hiring managers are searching for candidates who fit their culture.

Can't work past six months because of unemployment payment issues and the holiday and vacation pay benefit might kick in after the qualified minimum amount of hours work has been met.

The staffing/recruiter will get upset with you if you turn down a job.
Will try to beat you down on salary. For example, in the present economy, will FALSELY state to lesser educated and/or experienced individuals that they have CPA, MBA types that are willing to work for $9-10/hour.

If you ask them on how they're going to present you to a company?...They won't tell you.
It's your career! Why should you put YOUR career/livelihood in someones else hands.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

These people have very little training for being a staffing/recruiter. Look for credentials and certifications when hiring. Some have them. It shows that they have a passion/interest for the occupation to further their expertise for a long term career.
Hire recruiters with a education/work experience background for the positions that they are placing.
If they're worth anything they wouldn't be recruiters.
You're turning off future candidates in the St. Louis area. Word is getting out left and right. Change your company brand and the way of doing business into a positive one for both clients and candidates.
