Learned a lot about what was sold.

Cons

A good talker could (and would) unload needless or inappropriate merchandise onto customers. I found this to be a poor practice but upper management did not seem to care.

Advice to Senior Management

Small stores cannot support numerous managment "families" without costing the remaining staff and lower management excessively.
Independant nature allowed too much unprofessionalism to exist
