    Pros

    ACES gives someone an opportunity to get experience in Energy Industry. Learn some terminology, concepts, and Industry knowledge.

    Cons

    Very Silo'd organization. Slim to no growth opportunities both professionally as an individual and as a Company. No incentive to optimize the assets of their clients behalf (Owners are their clients and it would be extremely difficult to leave the organization). Many times their customers are so unsophisticated they do not know the disservice they have been provided.

    It has a Cooperative business model, and thus has extremely politically motivated business decisions. Politics of the organization run the company, because there is no profit incentive or performance motivations.

    It is a very hierarchical organization. Company has an abundance of middle management, and typically get promotions every couple years with no change in responsibilities just changes in titles (add 'executive' to the beginning of a title). Many of these middle managers are not on the ground floor doing work, and they receive orders from their managers. There are essentially a couple layers of middle management that does not seem to be necessary to the company's operations.

    Toxic work environment, many people who have not left are staying because they do not possess the skill or talent to get paid as well at any other organization.

    There is also a small percentage of female employees. They have issues with management philandering with the younger female employees. This has created tensions and issues between employees throughout the organization. A few of these female employees have essentially quit on their jobs, but miraculously get moved into another role that has limited to no responsibility.

    Complete reorganization of the entire company.
