I have been working at Acosta part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

As far as merchandising companies go, they pay more than any other I've seen. No punching a clock, just work your schedule set by the position. Nobody is over your shoulder hovering.

    Cons

It may just be my location, but having FT would be nice. I've been told changes may be coming, let's hope!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

With as many companies as Acosta represents, employees should easily be able to fill 40 hours without effort. Hopefully this comes true in the near future.

I worked at Acosta part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Creating your own hours, within limits. Had a great supervisor, but that is all a matter of luck.

    Cons

Company didn't hire new people, but instead put more work on employess. By the time I left the company, I had 10 Walmarts and 8 Home Depots to cover! And I was a P/T employee. Also, if you are injured you cannot do the job at all (I broke my leg).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire more people. Make the regions smaller. I covered a huge area, travel-wise, from almost to PA to Staten Island. Too much time in traffic.
