    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on actually retaining your workforce. It's sad when you work for a company that's been around since the 90's yet, everyone has only been there for 2 years or less.

I worked at ActionLink part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Fast onboarding process, easy interviews. Friendly management and HR department.

    Cons

Dreadfully low base hourly wage, especially so since they do not reimburse gas expenses for first 30 miles of daily travel. Job visits are paid pro rated for exactly the time you are in store. Most visits are around 30 minutes, so you end up making very little. I calculated that if I do less than 4 store visits a day actually am out of pocket. Very high turnver of staff, not surprising.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Raise hourly pay rate by 80%. In this economy nobody can afford to work for employers like this. WIth only part time hours being offered by most employers, a low hourly rate is impossible for a job like this.
