Pros

I love the customer based and the co-workers I work alongside.

Cons

The structure and management styles are weak. They are on a rapid pace to be an intensely micro-managed org.

    Pros

You can make some decent money if you are willing to put extra hours

    Cons

Pay is still way too low

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep eliminating bad performers. I've been here for 6 years and finally I'm seeing lazy people being let go. How refreshing!!!

I worked at Active Network full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Learned a lot, Got incredible opportunities and talented people were promoted and given more responsibility. Great technical teams. It was hard work but we banded together and succeed despite sr. management. Awesome culture with activeX. I still work out with a lot of those people and there is a great community in San Diego of ex-active people. Probably 100 current and former employees at last weeks weekly going away happy hour.

    Cons

Everyone is leaving, no one is waiting to get laid off or moved to Texas. Huge brain drain for those that are left. No one trusts sr management and we actually laugh at the All company calls (they aren't supposed to be funny). Too bad the business was mismanaged for years by chasing revenue and acquisitions and not profits. Vista just wants their money back and the company does need to get profitable. Vista will use Darko to their dirty work but I don't see him there long term. Could be better once he's gone. There may be a chance people would respect the leaders there once he's gone. The other reviews have already talked about 'leaving now'.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None - It's too late now. Time to save the culture was years ago. You are getting your cost savings and from a survival aspect that's what's needed.
