Acxiom – “Not so great!

Jun 26, 2009

3.0

Acxiom Tester in Little Rock, AR:   (Current Employee)

Pros

Supportive of families and such - you can work remotely or take time off as needed, as long as you get the job done.
The people are nice (far as I know), and I hear that it was once a great company that looked after its employees

Cons

'Acxiom is a great company to work for..' is a myth to me, i guess I joined when things started going south. I've witness over 10 layoffs in the span of 3 years while working there... not too good for employee morale.
Advancement here is also a mystery to me - might have to learn the corporate ins and outs to actually get somewhere. then again, might just be the area of the company I work in.

Advice to Senior Management

Stop laying off and hiring new people! treat employees like human beings/associates and not disposables
