Once the premier shop in the industry with empowered associates, it is now a top-down dysfunctional shadow of itself.

I worked at Acxiom full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Still a good training ground. Some good technology in and around the digital space. It just doesn't work very well. Still some pockets of really good people left but becoming very scarce.

Cons

The failure of leadership is forbidding. Get in, get your resume updated and get out. This is not a long term play. Revenue has been in decline for a number of years but it is the broken culture that is so difficult to endure for any length of time. It feels like an exercise in futility.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The arrogance of top-down leadership team has no interest in advice. It is simply unwelcome. Save the effort. Get in. Get out. Don't ever look back.

I worked at Acxiom full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible work schedule, interesting work, general corporate direction seemed positive.

    Cons

People are too busy to answer questions or provide training. There is a lack of documentation that could provided the needed information. The team I was on did not
reflect the sentiments proclaimed by the top management of the company. Initiatives started are not carried through.
However, I believe there are other teams within Acxiom that are much better than the one I was on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work toward standardizing processes, software, and practices both internal (HR practices) and external for ALL teams. The verbalized vision is not being practiced on every team.
