Former Employee - Automotive Designer in Livonia, MI

I worked at Adecco full-time for more than a year

Pros

Decent Pay. not much more i can say about it.

Cons

The benefits are the worst i've ever heard of. The cost for family insurance was $260 a week, with a MAXIMUM of $1500 for outpatient surgery coverage.

Meaning in 2 months you pay more than they will pay for coverage. If you want the better coverage, it's $400 a week.

No sick time, No vacation time.

I was contracted out to another company by Adecco, in the 18 months i heard from Adecco one time. very poor communication.

I worked at Adecco full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    *Office was close to home
*Benefits and pay met industry standards
    *Occasionaly travel

    Cons

*Company is so processed oriented it takes away from your ability to perform the job at hand
*Management (Regional VP) talks behind your back and will share confidential information with your teams creating total chaos and no loyalty from your team.
*Little to no support from the corporate HR team
*Expectation is to turn an under achieving employee, but you will receive no support from your Manager and little from the corporate HR team.
*Management will time their terminations pre-bonus time to avoid paying out bonuses.
*Due to Adecco's high mark-ups, it is hard to compete with other companies.
*While traveling, you were expected to pay upfront for your own ticket, room and transportation, re-imbursement would come later.

Current Employee - Executive Assistant  in  Fort Myers, FL
Current Employee - Executive Assistant in Fort Myers, FL

I have been working at Adecco as a contractor for more than 8 years

    Pros

when the office was open in Ft. Myers, the staff was on the ball, had assignments without fail. Even as it got harder, they kept me working.

    Cons

Since closing the FM office, the Sarasota office does not care as much, they dont try to find work in any location. The team in the FM office was strong and hard working.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

why downsize a great office to nothing, and keep an office that does not work for their temps open? Franchise or not, get on the ball. This economy some have to rely on other means of living, get them the work.
