I have been working at Adecco full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    - Excellent training provided to new employees
    - Possibility to grow skills and work autonomously
    - Using foreign languages is a must and this is great for employees who have those skills
    - Easy to keep good work/life balance
    - Nice team (and many team-building events)
    - The management really does try to improve the cons (see below) but is not going the extra mile necessary to make it work in the end

Would definitely recommend this company for any junior profile because it is an extremely good school and makes you pretty tough. However, I believe that for someone with experience, this is certainly a dead-end.

    Cons

    - Not customer-focused at all even if values tell a different story: Customers are only valuable when they bring in money, otherwise their requests are not being considered. Temp workers are even less considered than customers and money is being made with them in a frankly close-to-illegal way.
    - Workload is very misbalanced and management does next to nothing to change this
    - Very bad communication within the group (and when there is, it is plain propaganda)
    - Absolutely no career opportunities - they prefer to recruit rather than to privilege employee promotion
    - Very high rate of unsuccessful salary reviews although profit is increasing constantly
    - The 2 only benefits are pension insurance and a 13th month and those are open only to employees with more than 3 years experience within the group
    - No doing much to improve employee-retention

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Adecco is obviously N°1 in its sector and its different groups and subsidiaries are also in a very good position on the market. Things are doing great and it's good working for a company which is doing great, but that profit has to be shared with the employees too, not only with shareholders!
