Administaff Human Resources in Houston, TX:   (Current Employee)

Pros

Generous benefits including substantial PTO and 401(k) matching. The company is interested in employees and their family's well-being. Very interested in employee's personal and professional education. Team based environment with substantial support from management. The company sponsors a variety of contests aimed at engaging employees and keeping them interested in the company, their jobs and their co-workers. They have everything from "brand" contests to our own "Admini-loser" weight loss contest.

The company is very volunteer-oriented and provides time off each month to volunteer and will match contributions of charitable donations.

Cons

Very focused on metrics, which isn't all bad. Unfortunately some of the metrics are misleading and teams are held responsible for concerns out of their control.

You must "drink the Kool-Aid" - and all the food they feed you consists of carbs.

Advice to Senior Management

Revamp the way the teams are rated when they have no influence on the situation. Otherwise, things are wonderful - don't change anything!
