I worked at Adobe full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Flexible work environment (either San Francisco or San Jose), great cafe's at both locations, easy access (3 blocks from CalTrain in either location).

    Cons

Serious lack of leadership; poor HR management; lack of vision; no enterprise focus; low-balled my comp; mis-represented expectations

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Either do Enterprise or don't do it. But don't do it half assed.

    Great Company, Bad Leadership

I have been working at Adobe full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great, smart people, good culture, good salary, benefits still good, always interesting projects and challenges.

    Cons

A lot of products struggle to understand their marketplace, leadership has consistently made bad bets. Adobe used to create markets and product segments, but now it follows the leadership of other companies. Extremely distributed workforce makes for incoherent teams.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Simplify and consolidate products and teams. Figure out a better way to grow products and innovation inside the company instead of buying other companies.
