I have been working at Adobe as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Employees that I worked with were generally pleasant to work with and did their job well. The rate for consultants was competitive. Employee benefits are good.

    Cons

Some managers are not very organized. As with other companies, the work/life balance needs to be improved. Morale seems to be low.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate better with employees and have a better work/life balance to keep the good workers. Need to make some changes to attract brighter employees. Encourage morale-boosting activities.

I have been working at Adobe full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Adobe has great benefits and take excellent care of its employees. They have a flexible work-from-home schedule, that enables employees to spend more time around their families. It's a fun place to work with fun & hardworking people.

    Cons

Adobe probably isn't the best company to work for if you are an entry-level or young person, looking to climb the corporate ladder and improve your job title. Although there is movement up and around the company, for the most part, people tend to settle into their roles. It will take years to achieve the same level of promotion at another smaller, tech firm.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Adobe has a long way to go in recruiting the best & brightest graduates from top universities. Adobe would be wise to develop a rotational or training program to bring more graduates into Adobe and help them carve out a space for themselves within the company.
